How To Eat Sesame Seeds for Calcium And Iron

Nature has given us access to many wonderful seeds which are absolutely amazing for our health. But one of the seed varieties which truly packs a punch in terms of taste, flavour and nutrition is sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are the only seeds which are completely filled in with iron and calcium-two minerals without which we simply cannot survive.  It won’t be wrong to say that these seeds are a complete health package and if consumed in the right way and right quantities, they can ensure our well being and top health condition. The following is a detailed description of how you must eat sesame seeds to derive their calcium and iron content in the best way.

Chew them raw-one of the best ways to consume sesame seeds to derive iron and calcium out of them is to simply chew them raw.  The best time to do so is in the morning. You need to take about 25 grams of sesame seeds and chew them properly followed by drinking one glass of water.  This not only helps to relieve pain from the muscles but also adds strength to the hair and the teeth.

Eat sesame and palm sugar balls-another excellent way to get calcium and iron from sesame seeds is to have them in the form of balls consisting of palm sugar. For this, you first need to heat sesame in a pan and mix palm sugar in it. Make small round balls and eat one ball each every morning. This will give your body the daily requirement of both these minerals and strengthen your body.

Mix crushed sugar and palm sugar-it is a great idea to eat soaked sesame as this can help you get a lot of its benefits.  So what you can do is that you can soak sesame in water for one full night and then crush them to make a paste of soaked sesame. Now mix about 20-25 grams of palm sugar in 50 to 100 grams of sesame paste.  Have this daily to get all the essential minerals and vitamins for your body.

Consume sesame seed oil-you can also have sesame seed oil to get calcium and iron.  The oil derived from sesame seed is also considered to be very beneficial and full of minerals.  Besides consuming the oil, you can also use it to massage your body as it provides relief from joint and muscle pain. This strengthens your body and adds energy.

Sesame seeds are easily available in India and are grown at a large scale in the country. Make it a point to include them in your daily diet and lifestyle!
